Welcome to the LdP23 portfolio

“ Everything is a photo, it just depends who is looking. ”

My images are inspired by my grandfather, my wife, the African Bushveld and a friend gone too soon — four threads that run through everything I shoot.

The camera has taken me from the silence of the bushveld to the noise of a race weekend, from cathedral cloisters to city streets at dusk. Different subjects, one instinct: see the frame, and fire the shot.

How I work

I photograph patiently and print carefully. Wildlife is met on its own terms; landscapes are waited for; motorsport is anticipated frame by frame. The aim is always an image that feels honest rather than staged.

Editorial, timeless, image-first

My style leans natural and unhurried — real light, restrained processing, strong composition. Based in Australia · Roots in the African Bushveld, I travel for the right shot and welcome commissions further afield.
